About Mentally39

Hey there! My name is Bryan Davis; I’m a special education teacher. With over 20 years of experience in the field, I have developed skills that help unlock each student’s potential.

I’m also a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and a Master Life Coach in Mindset and Motivation. I also hold certifications in Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Informed Trainer, and others.

I’m also someone who has struggled with depression for 40-some-odd years.

While I still occasionally have bouts of depression, I’ve learned how to handle it now when it comes on.

I was also a functional alcoholic.

I eventually overcame my alcohol addiction with the help of outpatient rehab, writing therapy, and physical exercise. Mentally39 is an extension of my writing therapy. I want to pass on the knowledge that I have learned.

Once I became sober, I really began studying nutrition and became a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach; I understand nutrition’s role in overall well-being. I read a lot and pass on what information I find helpful.

As a Master Life Coach in Mindset and Motivation. Whether it’s breaking through self-limiting beliefs or developing strategies for achieving goals, I am committed to helping individuals unleash their full potential.
Together, we’ll work on changing your mind so you can realize your true capabilities.

In the classroom, I work hard to inspire my students to push beyond their perceived limitations.
Everyone has unique talents and abilities just waiting to be discovered.
My goal is to create an environment where each student feels empowered to embrace their strengths and overcome obstacles.

I’m also different because I am honest and will tell you life can be a harsh, cruel teacher.

Ultimately, it is up to you to make the choice. Life can be challenging and rewarding, or it can beat you down; it all depends on your mindset and how you choose.

If you want, you can read my story of alcohol and depression at TrackingHappiness.

I have also contributed to Authority Magazine and several other websites.
